The WHM 584/JI 58HP 4WD tractor weighs 3250kg with the FEL fitted, which is several hundred kilos heavier than our competitors 58HP tractors. This is due to the robust nature of the chassis designed especially for FEL work. Also, the tyres on our model are substantially larger (14.9 x 28’ rear), which when combined with the extra weight will make a big difference most conditions. The tractor is featuring with a shuttle shift, 2 speed PTO, dual hydraulic pumps, power steering and dual remotes. The operators deck is ergonomically designed with all gear selectors and controls mounted to the side of the operator. I had the good fortune to meet Gary at the Moss Vale farm show last year.
I eventually purchased a WHM584 tractor package and couldn’t be happier. After 6 months of solid work it has performed perfectly, starting first time every time. It has helped me tame my 45 acre bush block mainly due to it’s toughness and strength. I was told by critics that being Chinese built it wouldn’t last, I’ve been glad to prove them wrong. Yes there are “cheap” Chinese tractors out there of dubious quality, but this is a Chinese tractor built to higher standards and quality which makes it a good value tractor. Gary kept mentioning over-engineering and he wasn’t lying!
